Ancient Passage and Quests’ Continuation

The simplest things require much more time than you believe, things that I already knew before I embark on such a project, thanks to past experiences, when inserting new things and broaden the old one will need to place checks and controls, branches or just long list of commands and orders, but the results are always satisfactory, despite the effort, I welcome the opportunity that offers RPG Maker and I like to complicate my life to create things just beautiful to look at and fun, but they are almost only unnecessary complications, but it is this that can enrich and make interesting a game. The Quest I’m expanding and branching needed a long distance move to another area of the map, so why not make the trip quick and automated?

So I created the Ancient Underground Passage divided into various levels and located in an old mine with rails for miners’ carts, the result is a nice and fast RollerCoaster, as you can guess from the pictures and you can see better in the video extract I posted in the video section of the site. Here is just a short excerpt, there you can find the full video, which for the first time I recorded with sounds, showing all the progress of the game so far. As can be seen, two days of maps and scripts preparation to run the whole system, for less than a minute of the game.

I also made several changes to prepare for a novelty, I want to implement a system achivement, I have rarely seen in RPG like this, never in RPG created with RPG Maker but basically it is easy to create. Finished these things should even begin to consider the clashes, the monsters fights and classes, and this is where things become complicated and therefore it will take some time.
